Lindy 38144 Hdmi signal extender and infrared remote control up to 50 meters

This HDMI & IR Cat.6 Extender is a simple plug and play solution to extend an HDMI AV signal up to 50m via a single Cat.6 UTP network cable (not included). It is also able to retransmit the infrared signal of the remote control with a frequency between 20 and 60 kHz, therefore also the IR signal of the remote controls of the SKY decoders . Supports resolutions up to Full HD 1080p including 1080p 3D. The Extender is the ideal solution for AV and digital signage applications in multiple professional, home, office, retail, etc. installations.

The transmitter has a pass- through HDMI output for connecting an additional local monitor . For maximum compatibility when two monitors are connected, EDID data, which determines the supported video and audio formats, can be used either on the local monitor connected to the transmitter or on the remote monitor connected to the receiver. The Power over Cat.6 (PoC) function allows you to use a single power supply connected to the transmitter , the receiver is powered directly from the network cable, considerably facilitating its installation. In addition to the PoC function, the compact design and integrated mounting brackets allow the units to be installed even in confined spaces such as behind flat screens.

Note: it is possible to reach the indicated distances and resolutions by connecting the transmitter and receiver with a good quality Cat.6 solid core direct network cable. By using a different network cable or by introducing wall plates, extensions or patch panels, it is possible to reduce the maximum distance supported.
