The WTT 1 digital temperature measurement equipment is specially designed for tip measurement of solder styli. The probe is equipped inside with a heat source and a double sensor system. A control system, after reading the measured temperature, records the heat flow in the probe, stabilizing it at the internal heat source. The particular conformation of the equipment ensures that the heat does not return from the probe to the stylus of which it is measuring the temperature, thus avoiding erroneous measurements due to the high thermal load of the probe. The temperature is displayed on a digital display with 3 alpha numeric fields with a resolution of 1 ° C. The red flashing on the display indicates the measured value simplifying the reading of this temperature. The adjustable preheating temperature ensures quick measurement even at high temperatures. Different methods for potential equalization and the ESD structure of the control unit and the probe offer the unit additional guarantees of quality.
