CA6526 is a tester for checking the insulation of systems and equipment which allows to prevent failures through preventive maintenance aimed at detecting aging and premature degradation of the insulation parts.

Insulation control

CA6526 is equipped with numerous insulation test voltages between 50V and 1kV. The dynamic insulation measurement goes up to 200GΩ, with compliance with the IEC61557 standard up to 2GΩ. In addition to the manual mode, new insulation test modes are proposed such as the locking mode (Lock), with programmed duration (Timer) as well as the calculation of PI & DAR ratios.

Continuity check

The continuity check function compliant with the IEC61557 standard (current of 200mA), is enriched, on certain models, by a test current of 20mA, which has the advantage, during standard use, of saving the batteries. This function is equipped with active protection in case of voltage presence: fuses are not required.

Adaptability of the measure

On most models of the CA 652X & CA 653x range, it is possible to activate an alarm threshold to be chosen for each measurement, between 2 fixed thresholds and 1 customizable threshold. Furthermore, the ΔREL function allows you to view the measurements in variation with respect to a reference measurement. The display occurs in terms of the variation value and as a percentage of the reference.

Ease of exercise

Measurement analysis is facilitated by the storage of 300 measurements on the instrument. The memory capacity is increased to 1300 locations for the versions with Bluetooth® communication. The Megohmmeter Transfer (MEG) software module, supplied as standard with the communicating versions, allows the remote launch of a test with real-time graphical display, and the transfer of the stored measurements to a PC. The values are then displayed for each type of measurement.

DataView software for data analysis

The DataView® software and its Megohmmeter Transfer module automatically recognize the device as soon as it is connected to the PC, opening the relative menu. The latter, thanks to the hierarchical presentation of the files, offers the user direct access to the data stored on the device and its configuration. The other available functions are:
