The CA 6528 insulation tester is suitable for maintenance and repair work on electrical systems. Thanks to its small size, it is easy to use in any context. It is equipped with shockproof protection with support that guarantees stability on a horizontal plane.

The large LCD screen allows the simultaneous display of the insulation value and the real test voltage thanks to its double display. The backlight allows perfect readability in any circumstance.

The CA 6528 megohmmeter carries out resistance, insulation and continuity measurements according to the international standards in force: IEC 60364, NF C 15-100, VDE 100. The continuity measurement integrates cable compensation. The insulation measurement is possible in manual mode, blocked or with programmed duration thanks to the timer. In voltage measurement, an indicator displays the status of the batteries.

The CA 6528 megohmmeter instantly indicates test results: the screen turns red if the threshold is exceeded.

The presence of dangerous voltage (> 30V) is automatically detected by the CA 6528 thus making the insulation test impossible.

Measurements

Designed to measure insulation at 250V / 500V / 1000V, the AC 6528 tester is suitable for a variety of applications and also offers superior performance in terms of measuring insulation resistance (up to 11 GΩ), resistance (up to 420 kΩ) and voltage (700 V AC / DC). In accordance with the legal provisions in force, the continuity measurement must be carried out with a test current ≥ 200 mA and provides automatic compensation of the resistance of the cables, to ensure maximum accuracy.
