Aten KA7230 PS / 2 USB CPU module with RS-232
The Altusen KA7230 Console Module provides secure access to servers connected to Matrix KVM Switches (KM0932 / KM0532) from a PS / 2 or USB console up to 300 meters away. It is also equipped with an additional PC port for connecting a local computer, allowing users to quickly switch between the local and remote machines. It has an intuitive, easy-to-use graphical user interface with menus and icons that allow for easy access and efficient management. The connectivity part is no exception. In fact, on the back there is an RS-232 serial port which allows the user to access the console module via the serial terminal in order to set the accesses between the various consoles and the various connected PCs / servers. This function is extremely useful in large data centers where there is the need to supervise the individual workstations individually while maintaining the possibility of having an overview of the connected consoles.
