Insulation defects and untimely interruptions of RCDs can sometimes endanger the system and even the user, these phenomena are frequently caused by leakage currents, often difficult to detect. Having encountered these difficulties, professionals in control bodies, industrial or tertiary maintenance consider the F62 / F65 grippers as ideal tools. The clamps also offer all the functionality of a clamp multimeter. Thanks to the exceptional resolution (10 μA) and the strong immunity (70 dB) to eddy currents, the F62 / F65 clamps are particularly suitable for measuring the leakage currents which activate the RCDs, which cause imbalances between the phase currents or which they circulate towards the ground. The harmonic filter facilitates the search for these defects on perturbed and power systems (power rectifiers, speed variators, undulators…).

The CHAUVIN ARNOUX F65 is also a complete pocket clamp multimeter: intensity up to 100A, AC / DC voltage, frequency, resistance and sound continuity. It has a backlit display of 10000 points, memorization of the
