The Tivùsat HD Humax CAM is produced by SmarDTV, and is a Conditional Access Module (CAM) which, together with the tivù sat smartcard, once inserted into a television or decoder equipped with a CI slot, allows the viewing of free and coded (encrypted) television programs of the satellite platform tivù sat
The Tivùsat HD Humax CAM has been designed to decrypt the services available on the free satellite platform tivù sat. Operation with other television platforms has not been verified.
The SmarCAM tivù sat allows access to standard definition (SD) and high definition (HD) channels: access to HD channels will only be possible if the module is inserted in a television or decoder equipped with HD satellite tuner.
