EFFICIENT, NETWORKED THERMOGRAPHY.
With the Testo 868 , a thermal imager has been developed that can structure your work faster and easier, without compromising on professional thermal images. With the help of its useful functions it will allow you to create error-free and objectively comparable infrared images. With the functions Testo ScaleAssist , Testo ɛ-Assist and IFOV indicator you can not only avoid measurement errors and effortlessly set the emissivity (ɛ) and reflected temperature (RTC), but also optimally adjust the color scale in the building thermography sector.
SCALEASSIST TEXT: COMPARABLE THERMAL IMAGES
With the Testo ScaleAssist function, the correct evaluation of building pathologies and thermal bridges becomes child's play. The function automatically sets the thermal image scale to the optimal values, excluding interpretation errors that can occur due to an incorrect setting of the scaling factor. Unwanted temperature extremes are automatically discarded from the image. Building pathologies are represented as such only if they are actually present. Infrared images thus become comparable despite different environmental conditions. A very important feature e.g. for before/after shots.
TEXT Ε-ASSIST: AUTOMATIC SETTING OF EMISSIVITY
To obtain accurate thermal images it is important to set the emissivity (ε) and reflected temperature (RTC) of the object to be imaged in the camera. Until now this operation was very inconvenient and also rather imprecise from the point of view of the reflected temperature. A gap that has now been filled by the innovative ε-Assist Text function: Simply attach one of the supplied reference stickers ( ε-markers ) to the object to be measured. Thanks to the integrated digital camera, the thermal imager locates the adhesive, measures the emissivity and the reflected temperature and automatically sets both values.
IFOV indicator: Always know what can be measured accurately from a given distance.
TEXT THERMOGRAPHY APP
With the free testo Thermography App available for iOS and Android devices, short reports can be compiled quickly on site which can then be saved online and sent by e-mail.
In addition, the app offers useful tools for quick analysis on site: e.g. add more measuring points, trace the temperature trend along a line or add comments on a thermal image. Another handy feature: With the app, you can transmit live thermal images to your smartphone/tablet, which thus serves as a second display, e.g. for your customer.
