Offers precision, resolution and advanced functions for testing and troubleshooting in PLC systems and in the analog inputs and outputs of control systems.
The Fluke 771 current clamp meter allows the 4-20 mA output signals from the industrial production process control transmitters to be measured without interrupting the current loop . The Fluke 771 guarantees an accuracy of 0.2% and a resolution and sensitivity of 0.01 mA, ideal for testing and troubleshooting in PLC systems (programmable logic controllers) and in the analog inputs and outputs of control systems.
The Fluke 771 is designed specifically for those systems where, to make measurements, it is not realistic to stop the process or put the system in "safe" mode to stop the loop and place a multimeter in series with the circuit. The multimeter is equipped with an exclusive detachable clamp that can be used either connected or not. In particular, when the clamp is disconnected, thanks to the supplied extension it is possible to make measurements in narrow spaces; moreover, it is able to illuminate the measuring point to be able to see the wires in conditions of poor visibility and has an automatic battery saving function.
The Fluke 771 features a dual-display backlit display that displays both the mA and the 4-20 mA range; moreover it has the Hold function to easily capture and display fluctuating measurements. Users can also measure 10-50 mA signals in older control systems using the 99.9 mA range.
