Important
The NW tips are so-called non-wettable and have a chrome finish on the tip as well. They are indicated for the soldering of SMD components in order to avoid the dragging of the component after soldering due to the cohesion of the tin on the tip or for the soldering of radio frequency components. Due to the non-wettability they may have slightly longer processing times than the "wettable" versions.
