This HDBaseT Cat.6 HDMI, IR & RS-232 Extender with PoH & ethernet hub is a high quality point-to-point solution for extending HDMI and control signals over long distances using a Cat.6 network cable, in plus on each unit there is a 3 port ethernet hub.
Support the following distances and resolutions using a good quality Cat.6 U / UTP or F / UTP solid core cable:
- 100m: 1920x1080 @ 60Hz 4: 4: 4 8bit
- 70m: 3840x2160 @ 60Hz 4: 2: 0 8bit / 30Hz 4: 4: 4 8bit
Support for Ultra HD resolutions up to 4K allows you to transmit signals in high quality, ideal in professional AV installations, home cinemas, digital signage, public events and conference rooms. An additional HDMI output on the transmitter allows you to connect a local display (not active during signal transfer to the receiver via HDBaseT).
The PoH (Power over HDBaseT) function allows you to connect a single power supply to the transmitter or receiver in order to guarantee maximum flexibility in installation. Power is then always transferred via the network cable. The power supply is connected via a DC connector with a screw ring to prevent accidental extraction.
The bidirectional IR ports on both units allow you to easily control both the source and the display via their remote controls. Combined with the CEC function which allows you to send all commands from a single master remote control, this extender provides a simple and complete control system. The RS-232 interface can be integrated with control systems already present in the installation.
The integrated 3-port ethernet hub on both the transmitter and receiver can be connected to a network and to devices such as routers, switches or other hubs to transfer access to the LAN.
HDBaset technology is a globally recognized high-quality standard for distributing AV content, control signals and power over long distances via Cat.6 or higher network cable.
