Dual voltage, designed for the most common lead-acid battery types

Use the Calibration Control to select SLA, Cyclic GEL, and FLOODED auto backup battery types prior to testing. The ACT 612 tests 6V battery models between 1.2Ah and 10Ah, and 12V between 1.2Ah and 100Ah.

Simple operation

After connecting the clamps to the battery, rotate the Ah calibration control to the type of battery to be tested and press the “TEST” button. That's all. The results will be displayed in seconds.

The results indicate when to recharge or replace the battery

Battery manufacturers recommend recharging or replacing a battery when its nominal Ah capacity falls below 65%. Offering a clear and accurate readout of available battery capacity in Ah, the ACT 612 allows you to quickly and easily identify which batteries need to be replaced. On the back of the instrument there is a handy table which indicates, for each type of common battery, at what capacity in Ah it must be recharged or replaced.

Exclusive Ah calibration command

This control not only allows the technician to select the battery technology being tested, but also allows calibration of the tester for non-standard battery types. This offers considerable flexibility when testing different brands and technologies of batteries.

Advanced Pulse Loading Technology

The ACT 612 uses advanced pulse charging technology to analyze the Ah capacity of the battery, based on its temperature and state of charge. This method is significantly more accurate than measuring voltage and internal resistance and does not deplete the battery like a conventional battery charge tester.
