Basic Network Cable Tester
The Fluke Networks MicroMapper is a portable tester designed for network professionals that lets you quickly and easily verify the functionality of Ethernet cabling. A single button initiates testing for opens, shorts, and the identification of reversed and split pairs.
The included remote unit allows one person to perform the test. It automatically checks the continuity of twisted-pair cables, signaling major connection errors via LEDs: minimizing troubleshooting costs and time! It includes an inductive tone generator (toner) for identifying hidden cables with most commercially available probes (probe not included).
